The best life is a life that is approved of God. This life is a life that is a living sacrifice and a lifestyle of unreserved obedience. One disobedient action of a man can put his entire generation into jeopardy. The most important thing God gave man is the gift of will i.e. the ability to choose. You can’t claim to obey God if you don’t obey the man God has placed over you.
OBEDIENCE TO GOD BY GENUINE LOVE
My understanding of God’s love propels my obedience to Him. The price of product is proportional to its worth. You have been bought with a precious price – the blood of Jesus; so why won’t you obey God. Truly, sin is not simply forgiven someone’s got to pay. You can’t afford to disobey someone who has forgiven you so much. A story was told about a young man whose elder brother died in his place after he was caught in murder.
The level of commitment you give to God is determined by the value you place on Him. Your love for God propels your obedience to Him. Any form of consideration before you obey god is a limitation. When you come to the end of yourself you don’t consider anymore before you obey God.
