The Law of Perpetual Burning II

The Law of Perpetual Burning II

Study Scripture:

Give Aaron and his sons this command: These are the regulations for the burnt offering: the burnt offering is to remain on the altar hearth throughout the night, till morning, and the fire must keep burning on the altar                – Leviticus 6:9 (NIV)

The law of perpetual burning is a commandment and an instruction. It is God’s will for you to remain sanctified; and you will be sanctified continually if your prayer altar remains on fire. To remain on fire, you must fight carnality and fire extinguishers. You must trust God to resist every temptation the enemy wishes to use to cut short your relationship with God. Fire extinguishers are those activities and individuals that reduce your fire for God. Therefore, you must be very cautious and strict in your walk with God.

Why the Law of perpetual burning?

  1. To escape the daily sifting of the devil (Luke 22:31). The devil will come to sift you by trying to draw your heart away from God and focus it on vanities (Isaiah 30:28)
  2. To escape the danger of falling away or the drop-out syndrome (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
  3. To expose every hidden satanic agenda/ conspiracy over your calling as a believer (2 Corinthians 4:2)

You must understand that your walk with God is of paramount importance and as such; it should not be toiled with. Don’t give the devil the leverage of cutting short your destiny by taking you out of God’s presence. The devil may come in form of a car, woman/ man, wrong business, bad friends, and the like; but you must be sensitive enough to recognize the devil’s attack and resist him (James 4:7).

Take hold of your destiny; draw closer to God and run away from sin. Keep your fire burning by consistency on your prayer altar and your Word Study. Receive grace in Jesus name. Amen!
