Access to Wealth and Abundance

Access to Wealth and Abundance

Study Scripture:

But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers as it is today           – Deuteronomy 8:18 (NIV)

The presence of God is basically targeted against poverty. Poverty is a state or condition in which a person or community lacks the financial resources and essentials to enjoy a minimum standard of life and well-being that is considered acceptable in society. It is God’s for you to step out of poverty and into wealth.

When people of God are empowered financially, they can easily pursue their God-given goals and purposes; and Jesus’ provision for your access to riches is found in 2 Corinthians 8:9. He became poor that you might be rich. Bear in mind that there is nobody stopping you from becoming prosperous; so wake up your mind, generate ideas and become wealthy (Ecclesiastics 5:9).

Every Christian ought to take responsibility for the society in which he lives. He must bring the salvation to the society; bring God into politics, the economy and business. He cannot achieve all these without money. The more money you earn, the more you can help others, be of service, make a bigger impact and fulfill your purpose. Sunday Adeleja once said that, “Money is only worth making if it is going to be used to set others free”.

Poverty leads to hunger, illness, illiteracy, homelessness and unemployment in the society. The different types of poverty are:

Financial poverty: this is a state of “lack of cash”. In order to step out of this type of poverty, you must change your present state of thinking. Don’t depend on the bank to increase your money, increase your money by yourself (John 6:6).

Mental poverty: this is a state of “no idea”. You create money by raising worthwhile ideas. Favour only works for those who think and produce results. Never depend on a single income, make investment to create a second income (1 Corinthians 2:16).

Social poverty: this is a state of “no friends”. Irrespective of your good idea, you need human support and you can’t have that if your friendship bank is poor. Quality friendship guarantees prosperity. When you have a million dollar vision, don’t surround yourself with one cent minds. True friends are always there when you need them but fake friends are only there when they need you (Proverbs 13:20).

Knowledge poverty: prosperity comes in line with your knowledge base. There is no wealth like knowledge and there is no poverty like ignorance. God has a glorious financial destiny for you but it is your responsibility to acquire the level of knowledge needed to get there (Jeremiah 29:11).

Physical poverty: this is a state of ill health. When you lack sound health and strength, you are not prosperous. God’s will for you is divine health and prosperity, so don’t give room for sickness to prevail in your body (3 John 2).

Spiritual poverty: this refers to having a poor relationship with your maker. Spiritual blessings come by faith in God. Faith is a spiritual virtue. Faith is the bridge between where you are and where God is taking you. Faith produces courage and boldness needed to combat poverty (Luke 1:45, Romans 8:6, 1 Corinthians 2:13-15).

Prayer line: Oh LORD, I receive grace to take practical steps out of poverty and into the abundance you desire for me in Jesus name. Amen!

Principles Of Financial Prosperity

Principles Of Financial Prosperity

Study scripture

He was a loyal seeker of God. He was well trained by his pastor and teacher Zechariah to live in reverent obedience before God, and for as long as Zechariah lived, Uzziah lived a godly life. And God prospered him. – 2 Chronicles 26:5 (MSG)

Everything in life starts with a strong decision that will push you through and financial prosperity is not an exemption.  Prosperity comes by adherence to covenant practices and not merely prayer and fasting alone.

Application of financial truths/ principles is the beginning of your deliverance from poverty.  There is a high level of confidence you access when you have plenty money at your disposal. Money is security.

What you have is enough to give you a start only if you can think enough. You must realize that nobody can pay you hence the earlier you that planning your financial future and working it out; the better for you. You must avoid things that waste your money and embrace the ones that multiply it.

Some of the financial principles are but are not limited to:

  1. Don’t eat your future to make your today comfortable. Spend your money wisely.
  2. You mustn’t buy everything that pleases your eyes. Save your money.
  3. Your tithe must be in tact (Malachi 3:8). Money is meant to be your servant and not your master so don’t be stingy with it or worship it.
  4. Create your monthly budget and stick to it. Avoid waste (John 6:12).
  5. Maintain a high financial integrity. People will have no difficulty giving you their money if you are a person of integrity.

Four levels of giving are:

  1. Tithe
  2. Offering
  3. Prophet’s offering
  4. Alms giving

Always give God your best. Give cheerfully and give God worthy offerings (2 Corinthians 9:7). Financial failure is when your focus in on the welfare of your family members only. You must create channels where your money will come from consistently. The number of channels you create is the level of money you’ll get (2 Kings 4:1-6).

How to I create these channels for cash flow?

  1. Sit down and develop ideas.
  2. Invest your money wisely in the right business.
  3. Get advice on how to do the right business.
  4. Engage in book keeping and record your income and expenditure.

Important quotes:

  • Your good will is your highest collateral
  • Three important qualities you lookout for in an individual are intelligence, energy and integrity. The latter is the most crucial, without it, the first two are rendered invalid.
  • When your value increases, you will be given money cheaply
  • What you have is enough, you are a borrower because you can’t think enough

Prayer line: Father, today I receive grace to apply the principles of financial prosperity in Jesus name. Amen!

The Law Of Perpetual Burning

The Law Of Perpetual Burning

Study scripture:

The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out. – Leviticus 6:13

For you to keep burning for God, you need to stay away from carnality and from people that will extinguish your fire. With the high level of spiritual confusion in the body of Christ following different indoctrinations, it is advisable as a Christian to keep the level of your fire in check. People tend to lose their fire because they rather dwell on their past experience with God than crave to be perpetually burning for God.

What then is the law of perpetual burning?

  1. It is the law of removal of ashes (Leviticus 6:10)

Ashes represent materials that are incombustible. When you allow ashes in your fire place, you can only produce smoke and can’t rekindle your fire.

What Are These Ashes?

  • They are personal spiritual achievements.
  • They are past experiences in the Lord.
  • They are testimonies of spiritual breakthrough.
  • They are past failures.
  1. The law of adding fresh wood to your fire (Leviticus 6:12)

This refers to the fresh wood of a strong prayer life.

What happens when you add a fresh wood of prayer?

  • You will hear fresh voice in God’s presence
  • You access fresh grace (Jude 1:20).
  • You access deep revelation.
  • It gives you fresh contact with transformation and transfiguration. (Luke 9:28-29).

Further scripture: Leviticus 6:8-13.

Prayer line: O Lord give me the grace to keep my fire burning through a life style of prayer, I destroy sleep and slumber in my life in Jesus name Amen.

The Purging Of The Spirit

The Purging Of The Spirit

Study Scripture: but we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the spirit and belief of the truth                                                                                     2 Thessalonians 1:13

Your journey on earth is too long and you are not permitted to carry the weight of sin with you on that journey and that is why as a believer you need this purging of the spirit. Your usage by God as a believer is proportional to your sanctification (purging). And this sanctification can be possible if you make the commitment to receive sanctification of the spirit. The more you purge yourself, the more God uses you. The purging of your spirit helps you to create a deep relationship with God.

What Then Is This Purging Of The Spirit?

  1. It is the sitting of the Lord upon us to make us instrument of profitable service and sacrifice (Malachi 3:3).
  2. This purging deals with the spirit of rebellion (Ezekiel 20:38).

What This Purging Does?

  1. It prepares us for quality usage (2 timothy 2:21)
  2. It prepares us for multi-faceted usage.

Further scripture: I Peter1:2

Prayer Line: Oh Lord empty my bowl for you use in Jesus Name Amen.
