It is with great joy that I want to introduce you to FAITHHOUSE TRANSFORMATION ASSEMBLY INC.. Firstly I appreciate God for His Kindness and mercy towards me, and His divine direction that has brought us into this end time move of God for our city, our nation in particular and the continent of Africa in general.
I am glad to make boast in the Lord, that the vision of FAITHHOUSE TRANSFORMATION ASSEMBLY has been officially showcased.
It is worthy of note that FAITHHOUSE is not another name to be added in the church listing in town, but a commission with the move to set an all round transformation in our communities and society.
What we have today as FAITHHOUSE TRANSFORMATION ASSEMBLY started with an encounter I had with God in 1997 as an undergraduate of Federal University of Technology Owerri. It was an encounter with a book someone forgot in our Microbiology lab. written by Bro Gbile of PEACEHOUSE Gboko”, WHAT GOD WANTS IN A VESSEL” and the book ”REALEASING THE SUPERNATURAL by Bishop David Oyedepo of Living FAITH CHURCH. The impact of these two books opened me into an all round personal discovery and boldness in Christ.
This impact has not left me till date, as I still consult them).it was the combination of this two ministry outlets that gave birth to the name FAITHHOUSE.
On 4th April 1997, God spoke through BRO GBILE at GOFEST STUDENTS CONFERENCE at REDEMPTION CAMP ,SHAGAMU LAGOS in the form of questions; WHAT DO TOU WANT TO BE REMEMBERED FOR, DO YOU WANT TO RAISE MEN OR BABEEL?.These words hit me hard that I wanted to leave school for missions, but for the wise council of some CAPRO resource persons; this led me to be actively involved in campus ministry as I needed to serve God in school while he makes the vision clearer (The word came that if I continued in this zeal that He (God), will show me what to do in Twelve (12) years time.
The desire for this vision of FAITHHOUSE came so strong on 3rd April 2002, a year after my graduation from the High institution. I have to leave for Lagos to attend the 1month intensive course of WORD OF FAITH BIBLE INSTITUTE (WOFBI) of Winners chapel. The courses offered in that school exposed my ignorance and backwardness in the things of God which made me cry. After the course I decided to stay back in Lagos and work for some time. While working for GOLD LINK INSURANCE COMPANY LAGOS, I was still not satisfied with life (as my Director kept motivating us to discover what God has planned for us and run with it) In search of fulfillment I resigned, went and enrolled for the one (1)year full time Diploma programme in PRACTICAL MINISTRY of WOFBI, Kaduna (even in the heat of the Religious riot then) I graduated as one of the best students with grade ‘”DISTINCTION”.
While in the school on 12TH JULY 2003 ,8AM, I heard a clear voice saying, RESTORATION OF DIVERTED DESTINIES, RAISING A PEOPLE OF INTEGRITY AND STANDARD.I wrote it down according to Hab.2v2
After my graduation and commissioning by Bishop David O. Abioye of Winners chapel, I wanted to start off the ministry of FAITHHOUSE, but through the wise words of God’s servant(Through his teachings); that I need to serve someone first, if I want to stand out and have a virile ministry.
I applied to serve under a ministry in Port Harcourt as a pastor, but did not go for the interview as God did not approve of it. God spoke to me that I should go to Owerri that He will show me what to do. My return to Owerri Imo state(Eastern Nigeria( was against my will as I have lived in the city all my life, I finally returned and went straight to a brothers house at Ikenegbu Lay-out (as I saw it as a shame going back to my parents house).
I went back to God in prayers and study on the next step(as I have registered an NGO on leadership and National Transformation)God led me to the book where I wrote the vision “Restoration of diverted destinies raising a people of integrity and standard”, In the course of prayers and enquiry in the spirit, I kept asking God this question ,If this people are raised what will be their job?.It was still in this quest that I came in contact with a tape by Pastor David Ogbueli’s (DOMINION CITY)on leadership and National transformation, and while listening to the tape,God said they will “be passionately committed to Leadership development and national transformation”, hence the name FAITHHOUSE TRANSFORMATION ASSEMBLY, and the vision statement
“RESTORATION OF DIVERTED DESTINIES RAISING A PEOPLE OF INTEGRITY AND STANDARD WHO ARE PASSIONATELY COMMITED TO LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION”, to Him alone be all the glory forever, amen.
The starting of the church arm of Faithhouse was quite challenging as I did not break out with members of my former church. With less than Ten thousand (N10,000.000 )naira in my account and faith in God’s word, I set out to start .A prayer meeting with few friends in my sitting room was held on Thursday8th April 2010(Which was exactly 12years of the encounter I had in 1997) and Sunday11th 2010 we had an exciting first service(made up of I, my wife and my 2children).
A little beginning with several needs and challenges to overcome, God has been our strenght.
Since then Faithhouse as a ministry has experienced financial supply that no one can explain. With only Eighteen visiting members we had a powerful Inauguration that attracted a large crowd on Sunday 6th June 2010 at KFC,Fast Food (about one Hundred and eighty Thousand Naira was spent) Owerri ,Imo State ,without borrowing and all expenses fully paid to the glory of God.
With less than Fifty Thousand naira in our account we kept looking for an accommodation as people where not comfortable worshiping in my House, and also we went on with the registration of the church with the corporate affairs. Every attempt to get accommodation was almost impossible(as we were asked to pay,N360,000 Per annum for 2years).To the glory of God, He miraculously through an strange man directed us to an old building/ Warehouse that went for N300,000 Per annum only. With 127,000.000 in the church account, God miraculously provided the balance, and the extra 197,000 needed to paint, construct an office, Altar and other little things needed to make the place neat for worship. The Church finally moved to a big place(#25 Item Street,Ikenegbu Lay-out) on 3RD OCTOBER 2010.To God be the glory we have moved to our present location, a larger place to accommodate our growth. To God be the glory.
During the Inauguration service, I made this profound statement under God: “Men and brethren gathered here today, in this great move and work that God has placed in our hands we are undeterred by the expected oppositions to the contrary. We are careful not to do anything, except it is commanded by GOD.
We have been commanded by God to be sustained by Him. It may surprise you that this church does not depend on anybody to succeed.
I make further boast to the glory of God that whatever that has happened and will happen in this ministry was and will be done dept free. No money/loan was taken anywhere. TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOREVER”. Amen
As a global Leadership driven commission, everyone is a potential leader and team member. As a team we are bound by one purpose, focus and agenda. I am first and foremost a team member and the privileged Team leader.
God did not establish us to raise loyalties, but to raise kingdom addicts. To be part of this team is to be lost to self, embrace integrity and discipline, hard work and kingdom mindset.
As part of our assignment to hasten the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, Faithhouse shall raise kingdom citizens who will be practically involved in all lives endeavor and print Christ in the policies of their organization, business and offices. This we will do until Jesus comes. At Faithhouse we are raising people who are not on the cautious side of life, but on the advancement and adventurous side. We are sick and tired of people with probing questions about our Nations, Communities, Churches and Families; we must raise men and women with creative initiatives that will cause and all round change.
