The death and resurrection of Jesus is our authority as Christians. It is our access to power, riches, wisdom, strength, glory, honor and blessings (Revelation 5:12). There are two sides to the death of Jesus.
TWO SIDES TO THE REDEMPTION
- The legal aspect. This aspect speaks of what Jesus did on the cross that we did not see. For instance, when Jesus went to the grave and collected the keys of hell and death from satan, we did not see it.
- The vital aspect. This is the part that speaks of the blessings we receive by faith, (Galatians 3:13-14).
The Vital aspects of Redemption
- The riches of redemption in Jesus Christ grants you access to the new life (2 Corinthians 5:17)
- It immune you from sin (Romans 6:14)
- By redemption, you have access to the productive mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16)
- Redemption in Christ Jesus gives us the irrevocable power of attorney to use the name of Jesus Christ in dealing with issues of life (Acts 2:21).
- It is the power that gives you access to declare and it is established
- It is the same power that grants you access to possess your possession.
